ARTHUR THOMAS

Arthur Thomas was the first grandchild of Jeff & Nora Thomas. He was born September 14, 1945 to the parentage of Eddie Glen Thomas & Eddie Mae Thornton in Mt. Pleasant, TX Arthur later moved to Dallas, TX with his grandparents and attended St. Peter’s Academy Catholic School in Dallas, Tx where he graduated. Arthur began working at an early age as a cook a different restaurants such as Kipp’s. Over the years Arthur has worked for Spring Valley Construction, Highland Distributors and was currently self-employed during his time of death. Arthur met and married Bette Robinson and to this union one daughter was born (Dyedra Lenise Thomas.) He later met Dollie Anika and conceived one daughter (Kimberly Talley.) He later met Bonita Alford and they conceived one child (Alicia McKinley.) He later met and married Wanda Askew in Barstow, CA who precedes him in death, to this union this they had one child (Tarna Thomas.) His father (Eddie Glen Thomas), mother (Eddie Mae Thornton) and brother (Gary Glen Thomas.) precedes him in death. Arthur leaves to cherish his memory wife Joann Preston -Thomas, Daughters: Dyedra Mohammed, Kimberly Talley(Lyndell), Alicia McKinley, Tarna Thomas(James), Kenita Preston, Tawanda Preston; Son: Kendrick Preston. Grandchildren: Sydni Wallace-Pitts, Syderis Talley, Jordan McKinley, Melody McKinley, Shawn McKinley, Josiah McKinley, Nicholas Murphy, James Murphy, Antoine Murphy, Nykemiya Murphy, Nykeviya Murphy, Nicolette Murphy, Radcedron Murphy, Gracie Preston. Great Grandchildren: Jase Pitts and Nova Preston Sister: Marilyn Yvette Lee(Darin) Brothers: Richard Falls and Kenneth Thomas, Special Caregiver and Cousin Larry Bradley, and a host nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
