COMISHA STEPHENS

Comisha Rochelle Givens-Stephens, aged forty-nine, was born in Dallas, Texas on the seventh of March in the year nineteen seventy-two, raised by Patricia Lee Pate-Givens and Jimmy Lee Givens. She attended Hamilton Park High School and graduated from Richardson High School.

Comisha ran a self-titled business alongside with her husband, Larry Stephens, for over a decade doing fencing, concrete, and roofing. A writer, a gardener, a Yorkshire Terrier breeder; The determined entrepreneur was on her way learning to become both a stock broker and realtor in the last year of her life.

Preceding her in death was her father, Jimmy Givens; biological father, Joseph Smallwood; and her husband, Larry Wayne Stephens; a faithful marriage that lasted for thirteen years ‘til death done them apart, for only nine days apart.

Comisha is survived by her children: Blake Givens, Trinity Kelley, and Grace Stephens; along with her grandson, Khalil Stephens. She leaves to cherish her memory: Her mother, Patricia Pate-Givens; her aunts: Paula Washington, Marva Pate, and Lisa McCook; her brothers, Jarrod & Detron Wheeler, many beloved cousins & friends, and her spoiled-with-love Yorkie pet, Chanel.
