EDWIN BROWN

Edwin H. Brown, affectionally known as Mickey by his family and close friends was born September 4, 1935 in Colfax, LA. to the union of late James and Mauphene Brown. Edwin attended School in Colfax, LA after reaching adulthood Edwin relocated to Shreveport, LA where he was employed as a chef at Schumpert Hospital. Edwin later began employment at Benevolent Insurance. He was ranked top sales agent and became a supervisor Edwin would remain employed at Benevolent until he relocated to Dallas, Texas. While in Dallas, Texas Edwin was employed as a DART Bus Driver Insurance Agent and Property Manager at various times during his career. Edwin was a devoted member of Carver Heights BC, where he served on the Deacon Board and the Senior Usher Board. Edwin leaves to cherish his memories: his devoted wife, Jewel Brown; four children from previous marriages which includes Annette Brown (Jerry), Angela Brown, Eric Brown and Edwin Junior Brown (Joiah); two sisters, Dorothy Merrells and Barbara Brown two brothers James L. Brown Jr. and Clayton Brown (Pat); one Uncle Willie Smith and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and Friends
