Jimmie Lewis Johnson, also lovingly known as "Jack", "Daddy" and "Dear", was born September 20, 1946 in Sharon, Georgia to Eugene Johnson and Dora Easley Johnson.
God led him to Dallas, Texas in the 1970's where he began to hone his skill as an AfC technician and grow in his anointed fellowship with God. In 1979, Jimmie was called into ministry to spread the gospel and display God' s love to a multitude of people. He received his license to preach the gospel on July 1, 1979 and his Certificate of Ordination on February 17, 1982 from Golden Gate Missionary Baptist Church in Dallas, Texas. He then received his Diploma for Spiritual and Intellectual Attainments from Southern Bible Institute in Dallas, Texas on May 5, 1985. In July 1986, Jimmie founded the company Preacher Air Heating and Refrigeration as CEO and serviced customers technically, as well as spiritually, that became family and friends throughout the North Texas region.
Jimmie' s love story began when he and Mary Frances (Lewis) Johnson were brought together in holy matrimony on February 28, 1979. They brought into the world four beautiful children; their firstborn son in January 1981, a second son in April 1983, a girl in June 1987 and their last-born, another son, in October 1991, raising them all in the Lord and instilling tremendous qualities of loyalty, hard work and respect for everyone.
Jimmie, was a doting husband, loving father, supportive brother, faithful friend, intelligent businessman and a courageous Man of God. He enjoyed watching wrestling, the Los Angeles Lakers, spent countless hours perfecting his HVAC work, watching sports, spending time with his family and serving his Loving Father in Heaven.
Jimmie leaves to cherish his memory his beautiful wife, Mary Johnson, three sons, Benjamin Lamar Johnson, Jimmision Lewis Johnson, Joseph Eugene McArthur Johnson, and one daughter, Dorian Jimarah Johnson; five grandchildren, Allysen Yvona'Marie Brown, Kyria Eliese Brown. Jaila Lanae Johnson, Isaiah King Lewis.
