MICHAEL GRIGSBY

Obituary

Michael C. Grigsby Sr. was born March 6, 1960 in Oklahoma City, OK to Anna Jean Bunton and Henry C. Grigsby. He graduated from Polytechnic H.S. (Fort Worth) in 1978. Michael also received a bachelor's degree from Dallas Baptist University

He accepted Jesus Christ as a young child. He was an ordained minister and served at St. Timothy. He later served as youth minister at Eastland St. Baptist Church. He was a member of Oak Cliff Bible Church in Dallas.

He retired from The City of Ft. Worth after 20 years. While there he diligently voluntered with Project Success (Homeless Children's Program). He was recently working with Ft. Worth Housing Solutions as Director of Security.

Michael C. Grigsby, entered rest Wednesday December 2, 2020. Michael is proceeded in death by his parents, and son Michael C. Grigsby Jr. Michael's surviving family includes his wife Shani Grigsby, daughter Tammie M. Grigsby, son David A. Grigsby (fiancé Casey Barker), son, Tyler M. Grigsby, grandson DJ Grigsby, his bonus children George James (Khiana), and Barry Handy (Chantal), sister Sandra (Eugene) Gaddis of Oklahoma City, Carolyn Gibson of Oklahoma City, Shelia Tillman, Tammie (David)

Parker, Shonda (Louis) Johnson all of Ft. Worth, Tx. In addition, he leaves a host of nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
