WANDA KAY WHITE WAS BORN JANUARY 17, 1954 IN FORT WORTH, TEXAS TO THE PARENTAGE OF I.T. TYES AND ERNESTINE GRANVILLE-WHITE.WANDA, AFFECTIONATELY KNOWN AS “MONK" WAS THE YOUNGEST OF SEVEN CHILDREN AND WAS RAISED ON THE NORTHSIDE OF FORTWORTH, WHERE SHE ATTENDED THE COMMUNITY SCHOOLS AND FINISHED HER EDUCATION AT MILTON L. KIRKPATRICK SENIOR HIGHSCHOOL AS A YOUTH, WANDA ACCEPTED CHRIST AS HER SAVIOR AND WAS BAPTIZED AT LONG AVENUE BAPTIST CHURCH WITH THE REST OF HER FAMILY. WHEN SHE RELOCATED TO PORTLAND, OREGON FOR 15 YEARS, SHE ATTENDED LIFE CHANGE CHURCH UNDER THE LEADERSHIP OF PASTORS MARK AND MARLA STRONG. WANDA WAS A VERY FAMILY ORIENTED PERSON. SHE ENJOYED SPENDING TIME WITH HER LARGE FAMILY AND CLOSE FRIENDS AS WELL AS BEING A LOVING MOTHER TO HER SONS, RAYMOND AND BRANDON WHITE. WANDA ENJOYED SHOPPING, WORKING, AND MAKING LIFELONG MEMORIES WITH HER LOVE ONES. EVEN WHILE LIVING IN OREGON AND EXPERIENCING LONG BOUTS OF ILLNESSES. WANDA NEVER LET THAT DISCOURAGE HER FROM STAYING CLOSE TO HER FAMILY. WANDA RELOCATED TO TEXAS A FEW YEARS AGO DUE TO HER ILLNES AND TO BE CLOSER TO LOVED ONES. AFTER ENDURING FOR SOMETIME WANDA TRANSITIONED TO GLORY EARLY SUNDAY MORNING OCTOBER 3, 2021.
