A dedicated educator, Ada passionately served as a school teacher, earning the prestigious title of Teacher of the Year in the State of Texas three times. Washington High School, through her education at Bishop College and Prairie View A&M, Ada's thirst for knowledge and love for teaching shaped countless lives.

Ada was also an avid choir director and a cherished member of the gospel singing group known as the Terrell Sisters. The funeral service will take place the following day, March 7, 2025, at New Mount Zion Baptist Church in Dallas, commencing at 11:00 AM.
