Albert Lee Coleman was born on November 4, 1943, in Dallas, Texas, to John and Rossie Coleman. He attended Lincoln High School. He worked as a machine technician for Aviall for 20 years. He married Melvia Roberts on July 4, 1970.
Albert was a quiet and very easy-going man. He was an artist with a passion for horses. He not only painted horses, he crafted miniature leather saddles by hand.
Albert departed this life on Saturday, May 5, 2018. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Rossie, and brothers, Johnny and Steven Coleman.
He leaves to cherish his memories, sisters, Marie Meullion of Baytown, Texas, and Kathy Coleman of Dallas, Texas; brother, Barry Coleman of Dallas, Texas; nephews, Kelvin Gray (Sherry) and Melvin Washington (Jessica); Jason Washington (Regina), Johnthan Nealy, and Pettis Gage; aunts, Naomi Daniels, Renee McCoy (Fredrick), and Theresa Lott; great-nieces and nephews, Melvin III, Meagan, Kevelyn, Jason II, Jaylen, Zavion, Pierson, Jasmine, and Breamber; close cousins, Dorothy (Big Anni), Karen, Bernadean, Matti Lynn, and Nancy; and a host of other family and friends.
