ALENE WHITE

Alene White, a beacon of warmth and laughter, departed this world on December 3, 2024, leaving behind a legacy woven from love, care, and culinary delight. Born on October 24, 1920, Alene was a remarkable soul who filled the lives of those around her with joy, meeting each person with her unique zest for life. With a personality that was outspoken, funny, and fun-loving, she never met a stranger; rather, every acquaintance became a cherished friend, drawn in by her magnetic spirit.

Alene was most proud of her role as head cook, where she excelled, not only in skill but in heart. Her kitchen was a haven for many, as she delighted in caring for others, feeding the whole neighborhood with meals that enveloped the senses. Her laughter would often accompany her culinary masterpieces, ensuring her presence lingered long after the dinner plates were cleared. Alene's love extended beyond her delicious food; she found joy in sharing simple pleasures, such as riding the bus and train or scratching off lotto tickets, always relishing the thrill of discovery and the company of others.  She had the opportunity to travel abroad, Greece, The Holy Land , Hawaii, Las Vegas as well as various other places around the world.

A matriarch in every sense, Alene's pride radiated through her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. Her family was her greatest masterpiece, and each generation that came from her was a testament to her unwavering love and wisdom. Funny yet wise beyond words, she imparted lessons through laughter, always reminding her loved ones to embrace life passionately.

Those who were fortunate enough to know Alene will gather in her honor for a viewing on December 12, 2024, from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Golden Gate Funeral Home in Dallas, TX. Following this, a funeral service will take place on December 13, 2024, at 11:00 AM at Good Street Missionary Baptist Church, Dallas, TX.

Though Alene has departed from our sight, her spirit dances on through the memories she crafted, the meals she served, and the love she freely shared. In our hearts, she remains a cherished presence, forever inspiring us to care for others and find joy in every moment.
