Alvin James Boone was born June 8, 1942 to Ananise and Jenny T Boone in Waskom Texas. He received his education in the Waskom Independent School District.
Alvin accepted Christ as a young boy at the Old Border Baptist Church. After graduation Alvin relocated to Fort Worth, Texas, where his mother and father owned and operated a fuel station. Alvin went his own way and worked for Texas Steel for a brief period of time before he gained employment at General Motors until retirement in 1986.
Alvin was preceded in death by three brothers: Charlie, Leeotis and Willie Jack Boone and granddaughter Taylor Meagan Anderson.
On July 2, 1987, Alvin married his loving wife, Deborah Cooper-Boone. Mr. Boone, along with his wife, joined Dayspring Family Church. He loved spending time playing cards and dominoes with his family and friends. More than anything Alvin enjoyed fellowshipping with his family and the grand and great-grandchildren. Alvin was known to have a great love of collecting and restoring classic cars.
He leaves to cherish his memory his devoted wife of 35 years, Deborah Cooper Boone; sons, Alvin James Boone, Jr. and Keynan Allen; daughters, Adreian Guinyard and Shanna Love all of Fort Worth Texas; sister, Alberta Thompson of Lancaster, Texas; sisters-in-law Elizabeth Ann Smith of Wichita Falls, Texas and Jearlean Boone of Latex, Texas; brother-in-law, Terry Cooper of Dallas, Texas and Raymond Cooper of Denver, Colorado; ten grandchildren, Montre King, LaToya Williams, Alvin Boone Ill, Sean Ashton Guinyard, McKinley Love, Jourdan Tyous, Kiara, Tamaron, and Chad Allen; eight great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
