ALVIN HARRY JONES

Alvin Harry Jones, a talented photographer whose lens captured the beauty of life, passed away on March 22, 2024. He was born on February 27, 1949, in Lake Providence, LA. Alvin served his country in the Army and later found solace in his passion for photography, creating lasting memories through his art.

Known for his quiet and laid-back personality, Alvin had a keen eye for detail that translated into exquisite photographs. His love for fishing brought him peace and allowed him to connect with nature in a profound way.

Family and friends of Alvin Jones are invited to pay their respects at the visitation service to be held on April 5, 2024, from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM and a wake from 7:15 PM - 8:15 PM at Golden Gate Funeral Home and A Crematory in Dallas, TX.

A Celebration of Life will take place on April 6, 2024, at Egypt Chapel Baptist Church in Dallas, TX, starting at 11:00 AM. This event is an opportunity to honor Alvin's legacy and share cherished memories.

The burial service with military honors will be held on April 8, 2024, at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery in Dallas, TX. The ceremony will begin at 10:00 AM as we bid farewell to a beloved photographer and military veteran.
