AMELIA BRADFORD

Amelia Bradford, affectionately known as "MeMe," was born on July 22, 1946, and departed from this world on February 27, 2025, in Austin, Texas. As a proud and strong-willed woman, Amelia was a beacon of confidence, embodying both grace and determination. Her journey through life was marked not only by her professional achievements as a Mary Kay consultant but also by her unwavering commitment to her family.

Amelia's approach to life was characterized by her desire to create memorable experiences for those she loved. The memories of her remarkable hospitality will forever linger in the hearts of friends and family alike. Every gathering she hosted was meticulously arranged, with attention to detail that transformed ordinary moments into extraordinary celebrations. Her love for her children and grandchildren was boundless, always ensuring that they presented themselves impeccably. In her eyes, they were a representation of her legacy and she dedicated herself to providing them with the best of everything.

Among her favorite pastimes was tuning into the daily news to remain informed about the world around her, a testament to her engagement with her community. Devout in her faith, Amelia found solace and joy within the walls of her church, where gospel music often filled her home, establishing a soundtrack of worship and gratitude.

Though her spirit exuded happiness, Amelia was not without her complexities; her strength sometimes rendered her stubborn, yet it was this very tenacity that made her the remarkable person she was. She is survived by her five beloved children, Michael Bradford, Charles Bradford, Stephanie Bradford, and her cherished grandsons, Bristel Kendall and Brandon Brisco, who carry forth her legacy of love and devotion. She is preceded in death by her dear children, Marcie Bradford and Anthony Bradford. The memories of her loving parents will also accompany her into eternity.

Amelia's life will be celebrated with viewing services on March 7, 2025, at Golden Gate Funeral Home in Dallas, Texas, from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM, with a funeral service following at Mountain Creek Cemetery in Grand Prairie, Texas, the next day, March 8, at 3:00 PM. Amelia Bradford leaves behind not only a profound legacy of love but also an indelible mark on the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her memory will continue to be cherished by all of those she has touched throughout her journey.
