Angie Andrenett Hayes Jackson, fondly known as Angie, passed away peacefully on January 1, 2024, leaving behind a cherished legacy that will forever be etched in the hearts of those who knew her. She was born on October 9, 1962, in her beloved hometown of Dallas. Angie's vibrant and outgoing personality touched the lives of countless individuals throughout her journey.
Angie's career path led her to become the Assistant Regional Director for the Texas Department of Parole. Her dedication and commitment to making a positive impact in the community were unwavering. By devoting herself to this important role, she brought hope and inspiration to many individuals who needed guidance and support.
Before pursuing her career with the Texas Department of Parole, Angie had been a secretary at Magnolia CME. It was during this time that she cultivated meaningful relationships and made lasting memories within the Magnolia CME community. Her warm smile and genuine care for others left an indelible mark on everyone she encountered.
Education played a vital role in Angie's life. She graduated from Skyline High School as a proud member of the Class of 1980. She furthered her education at Texas College of Tyler, Texas. Angie's thirst for knowledge and desire to expand her horizons showcased her determination and perseverance.
Outside of her professional pursuits, Angie indulged in various hobbies and interests that brought her immense joy. A talented party planner and decorator, she possessed a keen eye for detail and creativity that lit up any occasion she took part in. Whether it was organizing celebrations or transforming spaces into spectacles of beauty, Angie effortlessly spread happiness through her exceptional skills.
Family remained paramount in Angie's life. Though she is deeply missed by her mother Austine, father Andrew, and sisters Bobbie and Margie, it brings comfort to know that Angie has been joined in eternal life by her loved ones. Her memory will forever be cherished by her surviving family: her loving husband Charles, sisters Charlotte, Mattie, and Janet, and brothers Ronnie, Harry, Leslie, and George. Their precious bonds are a reflection of the incredible love Angie shared with those closest to her.
Angie's presence illuminated every room she entered. Her vivacious spirit served as a beacon of strength and inspiration to all who had the fortune of knowing her. She was a leader who fearlessly championed causes she believed in and never hesitated to lend a helping hand to those in need. Her warm heart overflowed with kindness and compassion.
Services commemorating Angie's remarkable life will be held at the Golden Gate Funeral Home-Dallas on January 12, 2024. A viewing will take place from 9:00 AM until 9:00 PM on this day.
