ARTHUR LEE

Sgt. Arthur “Brother” Lee was born in Coahoma County, Mississippi, on November 27, 1944, to the late Rev. Arthur Lee and Ida Mae Porter Lee.
He attended school in Clarksdale, Mississippi, until enlisting in the U.S. Army on September 23, 1964. He retired from the United States Army in
1987.

Brother was preceded in death by his parents; his older sister, Ernestine Hinkle; and his baby sister, Dorothy Lee.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife of 40 years, Annie Ruth Lee; his devoted son, Terril Jeans; his twin sister, Martha (Matthew) Blair of Nashville, Tennessee; sisters, Virginia Trigg of Chicago, Illinois, and Beatrice (Willie Mac) Ford of Clarksdale, Mississippi; and one brother, Keathon Malone of Clarksville, Tennessee; one uncle, James Monroe Lee of Detroit, Michigan; and one aunt, Ruby Lee of Marks, Mississippi; goddaughter, Annika Pigford of Atlanta, Georgia; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
