ARTICIA LASHELLA LAMPKIN

Articia Lashella Lampkin, known affectionately as Ticia or Truck, was born on April 15, 1985, in Dallas Texas, to Stella Lampkin and Artie Reed. She departed from this world on June 24, 2024, in the same city where her journey began.

Articia's life was characterized by her unwavering dedication to the health field, where she selflessly cared for others through various roles. Her smile and infectious personality will forever be remembered by those whose lives she touched. Articia's vibrant and loving nature made her not only easy to talk to but also a source of comfort and joy for many.

In pursuit of her educational dreams, Articia earned her High School Diploma from The "Great" James Madison High School in 2003. She furthered her studies at Everest College from 2010 to 2011, focusing on Medical Billing and Coding. Her academic accomplishments were a testament to her commitment to personal growth and development.

Beyond her professional and academic pursuits, Articia found solace in singing, cooking, and dancing - hobbies that brought out her creativity and passion. Known for her love of music, she had a talent for speaking and rapping that illuminated every room she entered.

Articia took immense pride in graduating high school, starting a family of her own, and cherishing moments with her loved ones. Her children Leo Chaney IV and Latrichean Lampkin were the lights of her life, bringing endless joy and meaning to each day.

She is preceded in death by her grandmother Lillie Marie Stafford-Lampkin; grandfather, Bishop Otis Reed; nephew, Damija Davis-Hampton and uncles, Rodney Eugene Lampkin and Otis Reed Jr.. Articia leaves behind a legacy of love and memories cherished by her mother, Stella Lampkin; father Artie Reed; grandmother, Violet Reed; uncle, Curtis Reed; aunts, Patricia Lampkin and Elizabeth D. Lampkin-Polk; sisters, Artela Lofton and Shenique Reed; Brothers Anthony Lampkin, Lamenu Lampkin, Paul Ray Finch; Sisters Arquivia Lampkin, Stella Finch; Tamika Davis; Sisters-in-law Natasha Gabriel, Natasha Lampkin (Anthony Wife),  Shaniqua Lampkin( Lamenu Wife), Cassie Finch (Paul Wife);  nieces, Lillie Lampkin, Ja'Naiya Foreman, Adalyn Finch; nephews, Ja Khristian Rider, Felix Foreman, Christopher Rider Jr.,  Zion White, Zerion White, Demarion Lampkin, Andre Thompson III, Romeo Smith, Jru Minnieweather, Rodney Vaughn, Jeremiah Lampkin, JayVion Finch, D'Emery Finch the Reed Family; friends; and many others who were fortunate enough to have known her.

Articia Lashella Lampkin's spirit will live on through the lives she enriched with kindness, generosity, and love. Her memory will continue to inspire those who had the privilege of sharing in her warmth and light. May she rest in eternal peace as we carry forward the essence of who she was - a beacon of love in a world that so dearly needs it.
