MR. BABY RAY DARNELL

MR. BABY RAY DARNELL, born on January 24, 1959, in Dallas, Texas, passed away peacefully on March 2, 2025, in his hometown. A devoted Peer Recovery Support Specialist, Mr. Darnell dedicated his life to helping others navigate their challenges, providing support and understanding as a beacon of hope in the lives of many.

Known for his engaging and humorous personality, Mr. Darnell had a unique ability to bring joy to those around him. He was a private individual who cherished his personal time yet warmed the hearts of his family and friends with wit and laughter. A lover of nature and all its wonders, he found solace and inspiration in the world around him. Hobbies such as fishing, walking through natural landscapes, and parasailing provided him much joy and a connection to the beauty of life.

Mr. Darnell took great pride in his family, particularly his grandchildren, who were his greatest accomplishments. His love for them was immense, and he dedicated time to nurture and support their dreams and aspirations.

Visitation services will be held on March 12, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Golden Gate Funeral Home-Dallas, located at 4155 South R. L. Thornton Freeway in Dallas, Texas. The Funeral Service will take place the following day, March 13, 2025, at 3:00 PM, also at Golden Gate Funeral Home-Dallas - ALLENE. This will be an opportunity for family, friends, and all who knew him to celebrate his life and the legacy he leaves behind.

Mr. Baby Ray Darnell will be profoundly missed by all who knew him, and he will forever remain in the hearts of those he has touched throughout his life.
