Barbara Jean Clark 4, 1936, to the late Sam C. Clark and Tealy Schooley in Dallas, TX. She was one of eight children. She transitioned from this life on May 5, 2018, at the blessed age of 81. Barbara lived a long and happy life. She worked hard and was a very strong and independent woman. Barbara loved to have a good time with her family and friends listening to her blues; but most of all, she loved being a mother and a grandmother. She was a role model to us all. When she wasn’t spending time with the kids, she loved to cook. She would cook on a daily basis to make sure everyone had something to eat. Last but not least, she was the type of woman who spoke her mind. She would tell you how she felt, whether you liked it or not, or she would say something out of the blue that would put a smile on your face. She was a very wise woman and feisty.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Sam C. Clark and Tealy Schooley; her siblings, Sammy Clark, A.C. Clark, Cornelius Clark, Alfreda Shaw, Beatrice Barnett, Louise (Betty) McInnis, and Charlie Clark; and her son, Charles Ray Clark.
Barbara leaves to cherish her beautiful memory: one daughter, Tracy Clark; five grandchildren, Shatari Harvey, DeMaree’ Williams, Arianna Clark, Yannis Clark and MyKaela Clark; her god-grandson, Willie Brown Jr.; and last but not least, many nieces and nephews. Barbara Jean Clark will be missed and loved by everyone who has
