BETTY HILL

September 23, 1944 — December 8, 2020

On September 23, 1944, in Eldorado, Tx, Betty Joyce Hill was born to the proud parents of the late Georgia Mae Ross and OB Johnson. She received her education from the Schleicher County ISD. Betty experienced motherhood at a young age, when she and Billy Ray Hill produced her first daughter, Juanita, in 1959. After her divorce in 1979, Betty began a career as an Optician at then Omega Optical and later Essilor, where she remained for over twenty five years. The only thing Betty loved more than the Dallas Cowboys, the Dallas Mavericks, or the blues, was being surrounded by family. Betty received Christ early in life, but in her latter years decided to rededicate her life. On April 28, 2019, she was baptized at Hilltop Church, where she was a member until her departure on December 8, 2020. Betty was preceded in death by both her parents, daughter, Debra Henry, son, James E. Hill and brother Willie D. Johnson. She leaves to cherish her precious memories; two daughter, Juanita Clay, Betty McCoy (both of Dallas, TX.) three sons, Ricky Hill Sr., (Dallas, TX), Raymond Hill (Sherry) (Eldorado, AR), Cedric Hill (Wichita Falls, TX.) sister, Ocie Jefferson (Mannie) (Dallas, TX.), fifteen grandchildren and a host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and precious friends.
