Blynthia Ann Busby was born in Ennis, Texas, on September 13, 1958, to Leon and Mary Shaw. She accepted Christ at an early age at the Galilee Missionary Baptist Church and served faithfully in the choir. She later joined Fourth Ward Missionary Baptist Church, where she continued
singing faithfully in the choir until her death.
Blynthia received her education in Ennis and graduated from Ennis High School in 1977. She loved her classmates and was ready to attend every class reunion that came along.
For 21 years, she was employed with the Ennis Independent School District, where she worked both at Ennis Jr. High and Ennis High School. She was also employed with Ennis Automotive and Atlas Sound. Softball and hanging out with her friends were the light of her life. She enjoyed playing softball with the Lady Blues/Wolfpack Team.
Blynthia’s memories will be cherished by: her mother and father, Mary and Leon Shaw; siblings, Gary (Jean) Busby, Debra Kaye Elmore, Shelia Johnson, Kenneth Busby, Stanford (Sharon) Busby, Jackie (Don) Hill, Shandra (Booker T.) Washington, Calvin Nolan, Cassandra (James) Green, Gary (Sherunda) Nolan, Vernon (Benita) Shaw, Latrica Shaw, and Joseph (Keisha) Gatlin; a host of nieces and nephews; six aunts, two uncles; cousins, other relatives, and friends.
