BOBBIE COLE

Life Reflections

Bobbie was born September 14, 1937, to the parentage of the late Herman Tyler and Gussie Johnson in Arlington, TX.  She transitioned into Glory on Friday, August 23, 2019.  She was surrounded and supported by her loving family and caregivers.

Bobbie graduated from I. M. Terrell in 1956 and attended college in Kansas City, MO.

She joined Mount Olive Baptist Church at an early age under the leadership of the late Rev. D. B. Brown and rededicated her life on May 15, 2005, under the leadership of the late Rev. N. L. Robinson. She was a faithful member of the Usher Board until her health started to decline in 2015.

She was preceded in death by her husband Joseph Cole; her brothers, Roy Lee Tyler and Charlie Walter Tyler; her twin sister, Betty Givens and sister, Doris Mason; her son, Reginald Fantroy and daughter, Paula Cole; Grandson, Isaac Pierce.

Bobbie is survived by four children, Stephen Fantroy of Arlington, TX, Philip (Maria) Pippins of Tempe, AZ, Quince Pippins of Arlington, TX and Trina Pippins of Ft. Worth, TX; Sister, Sonya (Richard) Brown of Arlington, TX; Eleven grandchildren, Tracey, Amelia, Reginald, Pariesh, Tierra, Ola, Aryelle, Arriana, Ivan, Vanessa, Carlos; Fourteen great-grandchildren in addition to a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
