Bobbie J. Williams was born on July 25, 1938, in Ferris, TX to the parents of Leslie Lee Williams Sr. and Beatrice Williams. She gained her wings on September 5, 2016 at 12:04 P.M to start a new journey. Her life gave testament to her strong faith and love that she developed for the Lord. Despite many circumstances she was a strong-minded and strong-willed person that remained optimistic during troubling times. Bobbie Williams was an active member of Greater Providence B.C. until her health failed and disabled her to be in attendance. She also sung in the Mission Chorus and until her passing Ms. Bobbie was still responsible for calling to ensure transportation for members who ride the church bus.
She was preceded in death by both parents and four children, Edward Earl Williams (Dinky), Nathan “Lynn” Williams, Donny Lee Williams, and Erma “Jean” Williams; Three grandchildren, Kennequal Williams, Christopher Blaylock, and DaMorris Williams. Three brothers, James Edward Williams, Eugene Williams, & Billy Williams; three sisters, Mary Alice Laymon (Williams), Leslie Lee Carr (Williams) and Patricia Williams.
She leaves to cherish in her memory one son, Lester Williams Sr. (Winky); eight grandchildren, James Walker, Lametra Hall (Jones), LaNathan Bizzell, Markhelia Sherman, Dadrain Williams, LaQuanthus Williams, ArYunna Williams and Lester Williams Jr; Three brothers, Leonard Darnell Williams, Leslie Lee Williams, Jr. and Nathan Charles Williams; Two sisters, Mary Jackson and Alma Williams; Last, but not least, a host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
