Catherine Mae Shaw, a devoted, loving individual, passed on January 9, 2025, in Dallas. Born on July 5, 1949, in Dallas, Catherine was a lifelong resident of the city she cherished. She received her education as a proud high school graduate, which laid the foundation for her unwavering commitment to her family.

Catherine dedicated her life to nurturing and caring for her husband, Ciscero Shaw, Sr., and her children, while also being a source of love and guidance to her grandchildren. Her warm spirit and nurturing demeanor created a home filled with joy and laughter.

She is survived by her beloved spouse, Ciscero Shaw, Sr., their children, grandchildren, siblings, and numerous relatives and friends who will remember her kindness and strength vividly. Catherine's legacy lives on in the hearts of all those who had the privilege to know her.

A Prayer Service will be held in her honor on January 17, 2025, beginning at 12:00 PM at Golden Gate Funeral Home 4155 South R.L. Thornton Frwy, Dallas, TX, 75224. A Funeral Service will follow the next day, January 18, 2025, starting at 11:00 AM, at Mt Zion COGIC.
