Cecil Neil McLane was born on January 20th, 1960, in Dallas, Tx, to Mr. Charles and Alice McLane. Sadly, he left us on July 6, 2018.
Cecil graduated from Lake Highlands High School and continued his education at Cisco Jr College. He worked for Quebecor World Dallas for 20 years and left there to work as a contract driver for USPS for 18 years.
He gave his life to Christ and was a member of Hamilton Park First Baptist.
Cecil was the epitome of a hard working man and a great friend. We learned so many valuable lessons from him; such as, building character, responsibilities, and leading by example on how to be a great provider; just to name a few. We were all blessed to have him in our lives. He will truly be missed.
He was a stranger to no one and never missed an opportunity to make someone else smile. His interests included listening to old school music, smoking cigars, grilling with family and friends, and watching sports, especially his Dallas Cowboys.
Mr. McLane is survived by his wife, Queen E. McLane; three children, Chasity McLane, Stephanie Sewell, and Carl Ellis; father, Charles H. McLane; brothers, Charles Ray McLane and Joe McLane; sisters, Patricia McLane and Elizabeth McLane; three grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Alice McLane and brother Billy Paul McLane.
