CEDRICK JAMON CARRAWAY, a beloved son, father, brother, cousin, nephew, and cherished friend, left this world unexpectedly on March 12, 2025, at the age of 42. Born on March 6, 1983, Cedrick was known for his radiant smile infectious laughter, and a heart that was always eager to help others, especially the elderly. His joyous spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Raised in the church, Cedrick maintained his faith and values throughout his life, instilling in his loved ones the importance of kindness and service. He was not only dedicated to his family but also made meaningful connections within his community. Cedrick was a sports enthusiast, showcasing his athletic prowess as a track star, swimmer, and football player. His love for physical activity extended beyond sports; he was known for his adventurous spirit, often seen flipping off cars and houses with a playful gleam in his eye.

Cedrick’s legacy is one that will be remembered fondly. His passion for cars, coupled with his joyful nature, painted a picture of a man who embraced life each day. He is survived by many friends and family members who will honor his memory and carry forward the lessons of love and laughter that he shared.

A viewing in celebration of Cedrick’s life will take place on Wednesday March 26, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM, at Golden Gate Funeral Home-Dallas, located at 4155 South R. L. Thornton Freeway, Dallas, TX 75224. Following this, a funeral service will be held on Thursday March 27, 2025, starting at 3:00 PM, also at Golden Gate Funeral Home-Dallas.
