In loving memory of Celia Jo Johnson, who graced this world with her presence from December 16, 1935, to August 3, 2024.

Celia was a force of nature, a beacon of light that touched the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her infectious laughter could brighten the darkest of days, and her unwavering kindness knew no bounds. She approached life with a sense of adventure and a spirit of resilience that inspired those around her.

Born in 1935, Celia was fueled by a genuine desire to grow and improve. As a physical education major, she had a deep understanding of sports, including rules and strategies. Her enthusiasm for sports was contagious, she would always engage others in conversations while watching games. Her interests were broad and varied. She delved into multiple fields, from anthropology, and history to arts and humanities. Her ability to inspire, motivate, and support her students fostered a love for learning and helped them achieve their academic and personal goals. As a Vice Principal, she ensured all members of the school community were treated with respect and equity. The best interests of the students and the school guided her decisions.

Beyond her education pursuits, Celia was a devoted mother, grandmother, and friend. She poured endless love and wisdom into her family, always offering a listening ear or a comforting embrace. Her legacy lives on through the memories shared by those she held dear.

Celia is survived by her loving children, grandchildren, and a wide circle of friends who will forever cherish her memory. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, who awaits her arrival in the realms.
