Charles Wendell Brown was born on August 17, 1952 to Pearline Thomas in Fort Worth, Texas, in which she preceded him in death during the early childhood years of his life. He was also preceded in death by his adopted Aunt Rebecca P. Jackson (also known as Bigmomma) and his sister Becky Ashton.
He received his childhood education in the Fort Worth Independent School district, graduating from Kirkpatrick High School where he received his high school diploma. He attended Tarrant County Junior College for Secondary education.
He later became employed with Union Pacific Railroad for a good number of years until he became employed with the State of Texas Highway Department.
He received Christ at an early age where he was a member of Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Reverend Julius L. Jackson.
He was a strong man that took the people and the things that he loved seriously. He was all about family and close friends. He was a very proud father who would put all else first. He just wanted to see his family healthy and happy.
Charles leaves to cherish his precious memories: 3 loving daughters, Tamika Brown-Ruff (Webb) of Dallas, TX, Tyeshia Brown and Shannika Brown both of Fort Worth, TX, and the mother of his children Patricia Mason (ex-wife); 9 grandchildren, Damon, Curtiss, Darrneshia, TâYanna, DuMariun, DeNee, DeShun, DeShawnna, and Jasmine; 2 great-grandchildren, Aamari and NaâRiah; also raised in the home niece Delora Harris and nephews Edmond and Fred Harris; sister-in-law and brother-in-laws a host of god children, nieces (great), nephews (great), cousins, family, and friends who love him dearly.
