Mr. Charles Gregory Nivens was born May 11, 1970 in Brooklyn, New York to the parents of Charles Henry Mason of Virginia and Gloria Nivens of New York.

He received his formal education from Lafayette High School in Brooklyn, New York in 1988.

Charles accepted Christ at an early age as a member of Little Rock Baptist Church in Brooklyn, New York. He joined Mt Rose Church under the leadership of Bishop J. D. Thomas in 2010 and continued his walk until his demise.

Mr. Charles Gregory Nivens departed this earthly life on Thursday March 9, 2017. He is preceded in death by his loving grandmother Lousie Felder.

His loving memories and precious moments are cherished by his devoted family and friends. He leaves a loving wife Mrs. Myshundre M. Nivens, son Chay J. Nivens, daughter Naikai Goffney, mother Gloria Nivens, father Charles Mason (Tiffany Mason) brother Jerrell Mason (Deshandre Williams-Mason) brother Omar McBride, brother Darien Nivens, sisters Lucinda Mason, Shatara Nivens, Sinead Mason, borther-in-law Franklin Williams, grandparents Norman and Louise Mason and Ozzie and Katherine McBride and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, nephews, nieces, a great niece and many friends.
