Charles McArthur Ford was born June 20, 1945 in El Dorado, Arkansas. He was the youngest son of Sanders S. Ford and Esther Riley Ford. He was a graduate of AM&N College in Pine Bluff, Arkansas, with a bachelor’s degree in Art and Music, a member of the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, and a retired teacher of the Dallas Independent School District.
Charles was preceded in death by his father, mother, a sister, Louella Culp, and oldest brother, Jeff E. Doll, Jr. He is survived by two sons, Charmone N. Ford, Salt Lake City, Utah; Wilpatrick S. Ford, El Dorado, Arkansas, a daughter, Shenelia L. Pyle (Shelton) of Mesquite, Texas; two sisters, Sammie Ford Watkins of Detroit, Michigan, Esther Ford Buggs of Dallas, Texas, grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and all the brothers of Omega Psi Phi.
