CHERRIE SCOTT

Cherrie Scott, a beloved member of the Dallas community, passed away peacefully on February 23, 2025, at the age of 61 in Red Oak, Texas. Born on December 9, 1963, in Dallas, Texas, Cherrie was known for her radiant spirit and her happy-go-lucky personality, which endeared her to all who were fortunate enough to know her.

Cherrie's interactions with people were characterized by warmth and joy. She had an infectious laughter that brightened any room, making her not only a cherished friend but also a source of comfort and happiness to many. Her zest for life was evident through her various interests, including her love for music, solving crossword puzzles, and shopping – pastimes that brought her immense joy and were often shared with loved ones.

Throughout her life, Cherrie's proudest accomplishment was her family. She treasured the bonds she created and nurtured, always placing family at the center of her heart. Her legacy of love and warmth will continue to resonate through the lives of those she touched.

Family and friends are invited to remember Cherrie during the wake service on March 3, 2025, at 7:15 PM, followed by a funeral service to be held the following day, March 4, 2025, at 11:00 AM. Both services will take place at the Golden Gate Funeral Home-Dallas, Allene Chapel, located at 4155 South R. L. Thornton Freeway, Dallas, TX 75224.

Cherrie Scott will be deeply missed by all who knew her, but her spirit and the memories shared will forever remain in the hearts of her family and friends.
