Immersed in the pursuit of knowledge, he cultivated his intellect at Southwest Texas College in Uvalde, TX, and furthered his education at El Centro College in Dallas, TX, where he earned a couple of Bachelor's degrees. This commitment to learning was matched only by his duty to his country, having proudly served in the U.S. Navy—a chapter of his life that brought him both discipline and a sense of purpose.
