Crystal Bennett was born December19th, 1982 to her mother Lefloria Griffin and her father Jeffrey Boykins (who proceeded her in death).
Crystal attended Mackenzie High School in Detroit, MI and later graduated from the National Institute of Technology Nursing School.
Crystal was a caring, loving, loyal, and devoted wife, mother, sister ,and friend. When Crystal was present, she filled the room and others heart with her infectious smile and big personality. She had a strong passion for people, and she thrived on taking care of others in everyway possible.
Crystal met the love of her life, Jabbar in 2005 and later married in September of 2013. Crystal enjoyed spending time with family, traveling with her husband around the world, concerts and comedy shows, listening to her favorite artist Musiq Soulchild, and rooting for her favorite basketball player Dirk Nowitzki.
She also enjoyed spending time watching her favorite reality shows, eating chips, and drinking Kool Aid. Crystal took pride in cleaning her home daily, shopping, and entertaining family and friends.
Crystal departed this life to be with the lord on January 20th, 2021.She leaves to cherish her memories her husband Jabbar Bennett, mother Lefloria Griffin, daughter Kayanna Sparks, two sisters Tanesha Collins(Jesse), Toya Boykins, Brother Tommie Fields, two half sisters Sony and Marquita Boykins, in-laws Kesha Bennett (Roberto), Monique Bennett, Elgin Bennett (Laurie), Nesha Berry, and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins. Her niece Quaneshayonne (Q) who she held close to her heart, and many friends and extended family.
