Daisy was born November 5, 1945, in Jefferson Texas to Earlie Jackson and Maudie McDaniel Jackson. She received her formal education in Jefferson Independent School District, graduating from Central High School and received a full scholarship to Jarvis Christian College in Hawkins Texas.
Daisy moved to Dallas TX in 1964 and married the late Charles J. Andrews in the same year. God blessed the couple with two children, Rodney Charles, and Rhonda Renee.' After the passing of her first love, Charles J. Andrews, love found her again and she united in holy matrimony with Demosthenes Holley in May of 1974.
Daisy accepted Christ at an early age and was an active member of the Gethsemane United Methodist Church. Daisy was a woman of great faith and always very nurturing. She loved her family and taking care of them. She had a servant's heart and lived life serving others. Daisy enjoyed traveling and spending time with her grandchildren. The simplest pleasures in life brought immense joy to Daisy. She had an uncanny ability to find happiness in her daily activities.
Daisy worked at Grace Lutheran Private School for many years and then retired. Her most precious pastime was truly cooking. She loved it and was passionate about it. Daisy poured herself into her delicious meals. She would spend hours preparing and relishing delicacies to share with those closest to her, which is one of the many ways she expressed her love.
She was preceded in death by her parents Earlie and Maudie Jackson, and brothers, Charles Ray, Jerry Lee Jackson and grandson Chris McGensy, Jr.
She leaves to cherish her memories; her husband, Demosthenes Holley, her children, Rodney Charles Andrews, (Sherri)and Rhonda Renee' Chatman (Earnest) her siblings, Erma Jean Bailey, C.S. Jackson (Hazel) Carolyn Matthews (Harold) and Credia Lynn Jackson Simon; 3 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
