DALE GOLDEN

Dale Golden was born October 9, 1958 to the union of the late Lanie and Marie Golden in Shreveport, Louisiana. Born with Cerebral Palsy, Dale’s outside activities were very limited.  She lived a happy and carefree life surrounded by family. She received the best of care inside the home with her parents. Her mom always insisted that Dale was first. First to bathe, First to get a plate when the meals were done and First to get into the car when it was time to go shopping. We kept that ritual going even after the passing of her parents. Dale was always FIRST.

Dale was proceeded in death by her parents Marie Golden (5-23-2009) and Lanie Golden (5-16-2013). She was also proceeded in death by her brother Foster “Bopeep” Golden (6-21-2020).

She leaves to cherish her memories, one beloved and devoted sister: Odessia B Johnson (Charles) of Dallas, TX; three loving brothers: Robert Golden of Dallas, TX, L.C. Golden (Bertha) of Shreveport, LA and Lance Golden (Carrie) of Marshall, TX; 2 beloved nieces: LaQuita “Penny” Golden of Plano, TX and DaLisa Woodard of Dallas, TX; special nephew Jabryseton Woodard of Dallas, TX; special caretakers: Tomeiko Seigle of Garland, TX, LaTonya Nelson of Shreveport, LA, Cleveland and Katie Coleman of Shreveport, LA and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and caretakers.
