Daryl Lynn Salsbury was born on March 24, 1978 to Betty Salsberry and Calvon Maddox. He was baptized at Mount Olive Baptist Church at the age of 11 and remained a member until his death.
During high school he played football and was on the step team. He attended and graduated from Eastern Hill H.S. He went on to attend Navarro Junior College, Kansas, and Houston Tillotson University.
He was a sales associate with Clay Cooley Auto Goup in which he was a successful salesman.
He was preceded in death by his father, Calvin Maddox; maternal grandfather, Grady Rogers; and paternal grand parent.
Daryl leaves to cherish his memories; his son, DaKaidric Jaryl (DJ) Salsbury; mother, Betty Salsberry; brothers, Rodney Salsbury, Ricky Maddox (Brenda), Calvin Johnosn, Shaun Bagley, Juan Haley; sisters, Sherry Adams (Terry) and Patrice Maddox; maternal grandparent, Jessie Rogers; aunts, Fannie Salisberry of Leesville, LA, Shirley Bagley of Fort Worth, TX, Lillie Dale Fisher of Los Angeles, CA, Valdora Phillip of Fort Worth, TX, Ola Amos of Arlington, TX, Vern Washington (Leonard) of Houston, TX, and Debra Tates (William) of Houston, TX; uncles, Otis Rogers of VA, BW Rogers of Jonesboro, LA, Prentis and Dennis Roger of Longview, TX, Billy Maddox of Fort Worth, TX; special nephew, Desmond Smith; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and
