Daniel “David” Dewayne Johnson was born to Ethel L. Gulley and step-father, Troy Gulley, Jr. on June 20, 1962 in Hope, Arkansas.
Dewayne attended school in Hope, Arkansas and completed his education through the Job Corps in McKinney, TX.
Dewayne is preceded in death by his step-father, Troy Gulley, Jr.
Dewayne leaves to cherish his memory: mother, Ethel L. Gulley of Dallas, Texas; three sisters: Barbara D. Hamilton of Hope, Arkansas, Sondra K. Gulley of Hope, Arkansas, and Keisha L. Gulley of Jacksonville, Florida; one brother, Vincent L. Gulley of Dallas, Texas; one sister-in-law, Christie R. Johnson of Dallas, Texas and one uncle, Clifton Peevy of Hope, Arkansas; two aunts, Norma Henry and Ethel Dixon, both of Hope, Arkansas; six nephews, six nieces, and a host of other relatives and many loving friends.
In Dewayne’s own words, “I’m not afraid to live and I’m not scared to die.” Life is for the living, so get to living because one day we all will die.
