DEBRA ANN WASHINGTON, a radiant soul whose luminosity brightened the lives of everyone fortunate enough to know her, passed on December 7, 2024, in Fort Worth, Texas. She was born on May 31, 1961, in Tucson, Arizona, where the warmth of the desert was mirrored by her own generous spirit and outgoing nature.

Debra was a true embodiment of kindness, cherished for her unyielding love for family and friends. Her laughter echoed through the hearts of those she encountered, leaving a lasting impression that would not soon be forgotten. She embraced life with open arms, filling every moment with joy and camaraderie.

Those who had the pleasure of sharing time with Debra knew her as a good person, someone who reveled in the beauty of connection and gratitude. Whether gathered around a dinner table or engaging in simple conversation, her presence always radiated warmth and acceptance. Her devotion to family was profound, and her greatest joy came from the moments spent with loved ones, creating memories that would endure long beyond her time on earth.

As we celebrate her life, we invite family and friends to join together in heartfelt remembrance. A Prayer Service will be held on December 12, 2024, beginning at 6:00 PM, at Mount Nebo Baptist Church located at 3124 North Houston Street, Fort Worth, Texas. This sacred gathering will provide an opportunity for all whose lives were touched by Debra to share their love and stories of this remarkable woman.

A Funeral Service will follow on December 13, 2024, at 12:00 PM, also at Mount Nebo Baptist Church, where we will come together to honor her legacy, reflect on the cherished memories we hold dear, and find comfort in the community she so profoundly affected.
