DETRA WARREN

Detra LaShun Warren was born on the actual Mother's Day holiday, the youngest child of her parents, Ella Jane Gibson Warren and Clyde Edward Fortson in Dallas, Texas. Detra was the fraternal twin sister to brother, Weylin Detrun Warren. Detra attended school at Lisbon Elementary, Richardson West Jr High and Hillcrest High School. As a young adult she relocated to Houston, Texas for a number of years before returning to Dallas where she regularly attended Inspiring Body of Christ Church. Detra was a loving mother to her child and cherished her family, she was kind, sweet and always had a smile on her face.  Detra is preceded in death by her father, Clyde Edward Fortson and her oldest sister, Demettria Yvette Pearson. Those left to cherish her memories are: her son, Avery Warren; her mother, Ella Jane Gibson Warren; siblings, Sonia Warren, Jimmy Don Warren Jr, Donna Baker, Myoshia Warren, Clyde Warren and Weylin Warren; nieces & nephews, Princton Warren, Andrae Warren, Cameron Warren, Julian Suber, Chazz Suber, Chakara Warren, Charis Smith and Charmya Baker; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
