DIXIE BURSEY

Dixie J Bursey, 88, passed into her eternal life peacefully on May 11, 2022 with family by her side. She is survived by her 3 sons, Sam Conner, John Walden and wife Sherri and Steve Walden and a daughter Lisa Carney.

Dixie was survived by numerous Grand and Great Grandchildren and 4 Great-Great Grandchildren.

She retired from Baylor Heath Care System after 19 years of service. A job that she excelled in and received many awards. Dixie loved to garden and had two beautiful greenhouses. Many rosebushes which she had the best green thumb and anything growing in her flowers or vegetables were magnificent. Her house and yard were the nicest in her neighborhood. Dixie also had a flare for decorating. She made vases full of silk flowers throughout her home. She was a Home Interiors designer and she had many pictures, sconces and mirrors adorning her walls.  Dixie was quite the seamstress. She made many clothes for all her children as babies. Dixie will be missed by many.
