Donald R. Drake, affectionately known as "Dr. Drake," passed away on August 14, 2024 in Dallas, Texas, at the age of 76. Born on November 10, 1947, in Plano, Texas, he lived a life filled with joy, laughter, and fulfillment.

A dedicated delivery driver, Donald was well-known in his community for his commitment to service and his vibrant personality. He brought smiles to many faces, not just his work but also through his jovial spirit. As a beloved jokester and a man of faith, he touched the lives of those around him, spreading joy and positivity.

Donald enjoyed various hobbies, with visits to the casino and playing the lottery often bringing him excitement and happiness. His zest for life and love for adventure made him a cherished friend and companion to many.

The viewing for Donald R. Drake will be held at Golden Gate Funeral Home-Dallas on August 30, 2024, from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM. His funeral service will take place the following day, August 31, 2024, beginning at 11:00 AM, also at Golden Gate Funeral Home-Dallas, located at 4155 South R. L. Thornton Freeway, Dallas, TX 75224.

Though he has departed from this world, Donald's legacy of laughter, love, and faith will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew him. He will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by friends and the community he so dearly cherished.
