Throughout her career, Doris displayed remarkable versatility and dedication in various roles including Chef, Clerk, and Postal Worker. Her dedication to her work and her culinary talents enriched the lives of many, whether through the meals she prepared or the kindness she extended in her service roles. Doris was known not only for her professional skills but also for her ability to connect with people from all walks of life.

Doris was a proud High School Graduate, always valuing the importance of education and lifelong learning. Her passion for knowledge was evident in the stories she shared and the wisdom she imparted to those around her.

She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Nicole and Harvey, who were a source of joy and pride in her life. Doris nurtured her family with unwavering love, exemplifying the values of compassion and togetherness.

A Funeral Service celebrating Doris's life will take place on February 14, 2025, at Golden Gate Funeral Home-Dallas (Allene), located at 4155 South R. L. Thornton Freeway, Dallas, TX 75224. The service will begin at 1:00 PM and conclude at 2:00 PM.

Doris Edwards will be deeply missed by all who knew her, but her legacy of love and kindness will forever remain in the hearts of those she touched.
