Obituary

Mrs. Dovie Lee Anderson was born November 17, 1937 in Kaufman, Texas to the parentage of the late Mr. and Mrs. Earl Whitmore. To this union one child was born.
Dovie was educated in the Dallas independent school district.
Dovie Whitmore met and united in marriage with a Arthur Lee Young, who preceded her in death.
Dovie Young met and united in marriage with Cleabron Anderson, who preceded her in death.
Mrs. Dovie Anderson confessed Christ at an early age and united her Christian walk with Sweet Home Baptist Church now under the pastoral care of Pastor W. L. Johnson. She served as a faithful member some 30 + years. Her later years she attended Penuel church until her health failed.
Mrs. Anderson was a faithful servant, wife, mother and friend to many.
Dovie is preceded in death by her (Father) Earl Whitmore, (Mother) Ethel Rainwater, (Step Father) John Wesley Rainwater, (Husband) Cleabron Anderson, Her beloved (Daughters) Gayla Faye Anderson and Linda D. Anderson
To her cherished memories and Legacy she leaves her children: Patricia Rutherford, Shelia Anderson, Cecil Anderson (Tonya), Lynette Mullins (Preston), Phyllis Moffitt, Lenora Anderson, 20 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren, a very special near and dear cousin Faye Shelby and a host of other relatives and friends.
