DYKAYLA MEDLOCK, a bright and shining ray of sunshine, left this world far too soon on September 1, 2024, at the tender age of just two years. Born on June 4, 2022, in Dallas, Texas, Dykayla filled her family’s lives with joy and laughter, leaving lights of happiness wherever she went. Her time on earth, while fleeting, was brightly lit with love and cherished moments that will forever be etched in the hearts of all who knew her.

Dykayla brought warmth and wonder into the lives she touched. Her infectious smile and spirited personality brought joy to her family and friends. She was a beam of light in the lives of her loved ones, reminding everyone of the beauty that exists in the world. The love Dykayla radiated was unlike any other, brightening even the darkest days with her laughter and joyous spirit.

Though she has departed from this earthly realm, her legacy of love will live on in the hearts of those she has left behind. A Prayer Service will be held in her honor on September 12, 2024, starting at 6:00 PM at Golden Gate Funeral Home-Dallas, located at 4155 South R. L. Thornton Freeway, Dallas, TX 75224. The Funeral Service will take place the following day, September 13, 2024, beginning at 1:00 PM, also at Golden Gate Funeral Home-Dallas.

Dykayla's bright spirit will be forever missed and remembered by all who had the honor to know her. In the hearts of her loved ones, she will continue to shine brightly, a constant reminder of the love and joy that life can bring, no matter how brief.
