EDDIE BLAIR

Mr. Eddie L. Blair (a.k.a., “Ed”) was born November 2, 1947, in Kerens, TX, to the parentage of Fred and Alma (Wesley) Blair. He graduated from Kerens High in May of 1966. He accepted Christ in 1989 at Faithful Missionary Baptist Church in Dallas, TX. In 2005, he moved his membership to the Mt. B. Zion Baptist Church in Kerens, TX, under the leadership of Pastor Nathan Carter, Sr. Mr. Blair was a truck driver until his accident in 2003, and a devoted husband to his loving wife, Mary Foreman Blair, for 27 years.

He is preceded in death by his father, mother, twin brother, Freddie, and his older brother, Hosea.

Ed leaves behind to mourn those who loved and cherished him dearly and whose memories will dwell in their hearts forever: his loving wife, Mary Blair; his son, Newtorin M. Foreman (Christina); two grandchildren, Dallas and Dallin Foreman; five step-grandchildren; mother-in-law, Betty Davis Higgins of Garland, TX; five sisters-in-law, Willie F. Harris (Willie H.) of Garland, TX, Georgia Winkfield of Garland, TX, Glenda Leffall of Garland, TX, Viola Dixon (Marcello) of Dallas, TX, and Maxine Monroe (Lamar) of Mount Pleasant, TX; one brother-in-law, Bobbie Foreman (Bridget); and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, church family, friends and loved ones
