Edward Bolar, known to many as a talented Chef, left a lasting mark on those who had the pleasure of knowing him. He had a life filled with creativity and passion, that came to an end on July 6, 2024, in Dallas, TX.
Born on October 1, 1945 in Hattisburg Mississippi, Edward's journey was one of flavor and zest. His career as a Chef allowed him to bring joy to numerous individuals through his delicious creations. He approached his culinary art with a spirit that was both inspiring and infectious. Edward's personality was described as being full of spirit and fun-loving energy, traits that endeared him to many.
Edward's love for food transcended his professional life; he was also an ardent football fan with a particular fondness for the Pittsburg Steelers. All sports excited him, but watching movies, especially Texas Ranger ones, brought him immense joy. And let's not forget his daily ritual of savoring a cup of coffee – a simple pleasure that brought him comfort and satisfaction.
Edward was a deacon at the Dixon Circle M.B.C and served for over 40 years.
As we bid farewell to Edward Bolar, we remember the laughter he shared, the flavors he created, and the memories he gifted us with. In his honor, a Visitation will be held on July 10th from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Golden Gate Funeral Home in Dallas. The Funeral Service will follow the next day at Dixon Circle M.B.C on July 11th at 11:00 AM.
Though Edward's presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him well, he leaves behind memories that will forever linger in our hearts. May his legacy live on in the stories we share and the dishes we prepare.
