ELLA JOHNSON

April 17, 1931 — June 18, 2018

The Angel of silence entered into her life on June 14, 2018 while she rested in her home.Ella Mae Johnson was born on April 17, 1931 in Centerville, Texas to H. Weaver "Jack" Boozer and Iva (Fortson) Boozer. Ella Mae attended High School in Centerville. She later met and married James Daniel "JD" Johnson and moved to Dallas. To that union was a daughter, Cerise Johnson. In her early life she professed her faith in Christ and baptized into the Baptist Church. Ella was Dallas County resident  for over 60 years and was employed with Methodist Hospital in labor and delivery, where she retired.

Ella is welcomed home by her mother, father and siblings who all preceded her in death. Her two sisters: Pauline Boozer, Magarett Rhinehart  both of Dallas, Texas; three brothers: Jim Fortson of Centerville, Texas, Lyndon Cornell Boozer of Oakland, California and  Jack Rose Boozer of Dallas, Texas.

Ella Mae is survived by her daughter: Cerise Johnson, grandson: Terrence Johnson, great grandson: Daniel L. Johnson; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends
