Reverend Ellzie Ware Sr., 94 yrs. old, born in Tyler, TX to A.D. Ware and Pearl Roberts. To this union was born 5 daughters and 4 sons in which he was the eldest son. He is survived by David Ware being the youngest son.
In 1947, Reverend Ware married Nina Mae Lee of Tyler, TX. To this union was born two children, Ellzie Ware Jr., and Beverly Denorse Ware.
Reverend Ellzie Ware Sr., Later became Pastor at Greater Faith M.B.C. of Oakland, CA. Minister Beverly Ware became a part of God's army and continues to work tirelessly.
Reverend Ellzie Ware Sr., continued in his work for the Lord became Pastor of Bardwell Missionary Baptist Church in Bardwell, Tx., and later becoming Pastor of Calvary Missionary Baptist Church in Dallas, Tx.
Reverend Ellzie Ware Sr. was faithfully employed by John Aston Perkins Interior Decorating for over 50 years until he retired.
He later married Lenora Alexander, becoming stepfather of Richard Cooper, both of which being deceased.
He proudly served his country in the United States army in World War II. In this service, he received a Certificate of Appreciation as a Staff Sergeant.
Reverend Ellzie Ware Sr. lived life to the fullest extent and loved living in Dallas, Texas. He was a faithfully dedicated man of God, hard worker, respectful, loving, caring, supporting, kind, patient and understanding, husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin and friend.
