Elzada Jean Weston, born on April 20, 1944, gracefully stepped into the arms of her Creator on November 16, 2024. She was a luminary in the lives she touched, both as a cherished beautician and as a radiant spirit who brightened every room with her kindness and gentle smile.
Throughout her life, Elzada was the embodiment of warmth and joy. Her soft-spoken nature often belied the strength of her character, and her determination as a hard worker was evident in all she undertook. Those who had the honor of knowing her will remember her not just for her talent in beautifying others, but for the genuine love she shared, deeply rooted in her faith.
A devoted follower of Christ, Elzada found solace and community within the walls of her church, where she was not only a faithful congregant but also served with unwavering dedication as security. The Lord was at the center of her life, providing her with purpose and direction.
When not extending her hands to uplift others, Elzada embraced simpler pleasures that filled her heart with contentment. From enjoying peaceful moments with her cat to diving into the delightful world of crossword and word search puzzles, her days were sprinkled with activities that brought her joy. Dining out was another favorite pastime; she cherished the company of friends and family, sharing meals and laughter that became the bedrock of her relationships.
Elzada’s legacy is one woven with love, laughter, and a steadfast commitment to her community. Her proclivity to spread joy through her actions and her spirit serves as a testament to the life she led. To honor her memory, family and friends will gather for a viewing on November 21, 2024, from noon to 5:30 p.m. at Golden Gate Funeral Home in Dallas, Texas. A wake service will follow from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., as those whose lives she enriched come together, united in their shared grief and celebration of her life.
Elzada will then be laid to rest at Carver Memorial Park in Ferris, Texas, on November 22, 2024, during a graveside service at 11:00 a.m. Her spirit now joins the heavenly choir, leaving behind a legacy that will continue to inspire and uplift those blessed to have known her.
