Ernest Darrell Lacy – the second born of the Proud parents of Myra and William Lacy Jr. May 16th 1963, in Mexia TX. His parents relocated to Dallas Texas where he completed his education at David W. Carter High School. Ernest Lacy came to know his Lord and savior in his youth at the House of Refuge Pentecostal Holiness Church, in his early twenties he accepted his calling into the ministry where he served in the youth ministry media ministry and street ministry. Ernest Lacy believed in building up other men throughout his life that he came in contact with he would mentor and train co-workers to have good work ethic and how to develop a career to provide for their families. He leaves to cherish his memory one wife Evelyn, three Sons Derek Ernest Jr. and Joseph, one daughter Lashanique five grandchildren Christiana , Ke’vion, Calie, Cashone, Derrick Jr., his father Pastor William Lacy Jr. two brothers Gervis Sr. (Gloria), Edward (Lavinne), two sisters Tanya, Angela (Keldrick), one uncle, three aunts, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and his Southwire family. He was preceded in death by his mother the Founding First Lady of the House of Refuge Pentecostal Holiness Church Myra J. Lacy, one daughter Cori and his grandparents Bravious and Evelyn Livingston and Doris Clay and William Lacy Sr.
