EVA DAVIS

Ms. Eva Davis was born March 24, 1949 to Mrs. Katherine Jones Davis and the late Mr. M.C. Davis in Paducah, Texas. She was granted her wings to heaven on January 5th, 2021 surrounded by family. Ms. Eva touched everyone life that she came in contact with, we were touched by her and understood that the quality of existence far exceeds the quantity of time in which one lives. Her gentle smile, love and understanding she gave came from the heart, and for that she will forever live on in our lives and the hearts of many. She will be Forever missed.

Ms. Eva Davis is survived by her mother Mrs. Katherine Davis, 1 brother Eddie Roy Davis;3 sisters Kathy Taylor, Barbara Davis, Willie Faye; her 4 children Timmie Davis (Shay Davis), Don Davis (Griselda Davis), Catherine Davis, Rose Davis; Her children of love as well, Christopher Johnson, Leroy Johnson and Leonard Sims; her grandchildren Shameria Taylor (Donnell Taylor), Billy Beasley, Jahmil Beasley, Daeshawn Allen, Macquel Ingram, Demetrie Hood, Yanetria Davis, Marie Davis, Jordan Davis and Cedarious Ater; Nieces Ruby Hooks, Erica Hooks, Tori Beasley, Debbie Davis, Lashondra Walker, Tekelsia Hood, Angel Hood; Nephews Don Walker, Lee Albert Preston Jr, Matthew Preston, David Preston, Lamont Hood. 14 great grandchildren and many other family and friends who will miss her Dearly; Ms. Eva is proceeded in death by her 4 brothers Doyle Davis, Otis Davis, M.C. Davis and AC Davis; a niece Mia Broughton and nephew Sustanish Preston.

We celebrate the life and legacy of Ms. Eva Davis by remembering the love she gave to everyone, the joy she had in her heart for life and by remembering how her role in our lives were such a major impact that she will forever live on through us. Please join us in the presences or spirit as we prepare to say our final farewell to our Eva on January 15th, 2021 at 1pm at Golden Gates Funeral Home
