EVERETT ODELL DAVIS

Everett Odell Davis, born on September 5, 1941, in Beckville, Texas, passed away on February 5, 2025, in Dallas, Texas. He lived a life filled with joy, laughter, and countless stories that he would share with anyone willing to listen. Everett was known for his hearty laugh and was a true people person who could light up a room with his presence.

An accomplished electrical engineer and television repair expert, Everett dedicated his professional life to his passions. His career reflected not only his technical skills but also his love for working with others. He was an Army veteran, serving his country with pride and commitment.

Beyond his career, Everett's interests and hobbies were diverse and vibrant. He enjoyed playing dominoes, engaging in softball, bowling, and golf. A talented harmonica player, he often filled gatherings with music and laughter, leaving those around him with lasting memories of joy.

Throughout his life, Everett cherished his family above all, considering them his proudest accomplishment. He will be remembered as a jokester who always had a story or parable to share, reminding us of the importance of humor and connection in our lives. He always taught putting your best foot forward.    Also teaching and encouraging you to be the best you can be.

A WAKE service will be held on February 14, 2025, at Golden Gate Funeral Home-Dallas, located at 4155 South R. L. Thornton Freeway, Dallas, TX, starting at 6:00 PM. Following this, a funeral service will take place on February 15, 2025, at the same location, beginning at 1PM.

Everett Odell Davis will be deeply missed by all who knew him, and his legacy of laughter, love, and dedication to family will live on in the hearts of those he touched.
